End-to-end product design
I like being involved from the initial problem through to launch — understanding the problem, exploring different approaches, testing ideas and working with Product and Engineering to get the right thing built.
Example: At Nomo, I helped take the Multi-Currency feature from the initial customer problem through research, prototyping and testing to launch.
Using data to influence decisions
I use behavioural data alongside research and customer feedback to understand what’s happening and where there are opportunities to improve.
Example: At Bauer, I use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people interact with Rayo Web and use those insights to inform the redesign.
Using research to find the right problems
I use user research and usability testing to understand what people need, test ideas and find opportunities to improve the experience.
Example: At Nomo, usability testing helped me identify quick wins and simplify parts of the Multi-Currency experience.
Thinking across the product
I don't just think about individual screens. I think about how patterns, content and journeys fit together across the wider product and different platforms
Example: At Bauer, I contribute to our design system and have worked on the information architecture of the Rayo Web experience.
Leadership & advocacy
I enjoy helping other designers, sharing what I’ve learned and creating opportunities for people to develop.
Example: I lead Black UX & UI Designers, supporting emerging and experienced designers through portfolio reviews, talks and community sessions.
I share what I learn
I enjoy sharing ideas, getting people involved and creating space for discussion.
Example: I ran an AI session for my design team at Bauer, then took the topic to Black UX & UI Designers and shared it with the wider community.
I lead Black UX & UI Designers, a design community that supports emerging and experienced designers to connect, share their work, and grow with confidence throughout their careers.
